Mani Mon: Pastel Party

IMG_20130819_162051_wmHappy Monday, dolls! As the summer comes to an end, I realized I had a few [new] pieces I still hadn’t worn. One piece in particular was a pair of neon pastel coral jeans I bought earlier this summer. I’m not big on OOTDs but since I made a special point to tie my outfit and nails together I’ll share both.

For this look I used two pastels and a glitter because, let’s be honest, I’m addicted to glitter.

IMG_20130819_162201_wmI used Coral Silk from Cover Girl on my pinky – which I have to admit I REALLY liked this time. I didn’t like it the first time I used it for my ombre nails. Check it out here on my thumb. I used Gelato in Venice by Julie G (y’all know I’m obsessed with her line) on my first 3 fingers and on my toes. Finally, I added A Star is Born from Julie G on my ring finger without color underneath. I wanted a pop of glam and I thought the silver glitter was a nice touch.

Here is the outfit.

IMG_20130819_163414_wmI thought the lavender top might be way too off so I tied a pastel multi-colored belt around my waist to bring it all together.

What are you rocking on your nails? What nail polish brands do you love? Please share in the comments section below.

  1. This is super pretty! I need some more polishes. I’m currently wearing Blazed (coral) by Wet n Wild along with Rise & Shine (teal) by Sinful Colors (<— my go-to brand) on my ring finger in a dotted design. Loving it so far and hope it lasts through the week.

  2. Awww… How cute! Love the color combo & I love your outfit you matched that up good! Hmmm.. I have a bootleg French manicure! *Side Eye*
