This past weekend I bought my first bottle of Revlon nail polish. While I heard a lot of great things about Revlon, I have a rule: never spend more than than 5 bucks on a drugstore nail polish. (Although, there IS an exception to the rule: essie. LOL. It’s is my favorite!) Continue reading

Happy Monday, dolls! As the summer comes to an end, I realized I had a few [new] pieces I still hadn’t worn. One piece in particular was a pair of neon pastel coral jeans I bought earlier this summer. I’m not big on OOTDs but since I made a special point to tie my outfit and nails together I’ll share both.
For this look I used two pastels and a glitter because, let’s be honest, I’m addicted to glitter.
I used Coral Silk from Cover Girl on my pinky – which I have to admit I REALLY liked this time. I didn’t like it the first time I used it for my ombre nails. Check it out here on my thumb. I used Gelato in Venice by Julie G (y’all know I’m obsessed with her line) on my first 3 fingers and on my toes. Finally, I added A Star is Born from Julie G on my ring finger without color underneath. I wanted a pop of glam and I thought the silver glitter was a nice touch.
Here is the outfit.
I thought the lavender top might be way too off so I tied a pastel multi-colored belt around my waist to bring it all together.

Yes, I’ve neglected Mani Monday for a few weeks but I’m back. For real! I haven’t done a design in a while so last week I decided to try out one of the nail art brushes I purchased on ebay. I used to do French pedicures all the time – I’ve always had a steady hand – so I decided try a French manicure. I Continue reading

Julep Maven is a monthly nail polish subscription service. I’ve been a member for a year and a half now. While I love the service and customer service I DON’T order a box every month. What I love about Julep Maven is that you can skip any month without penalty and resume the following month if you like. Continue reading

Welcome, July! This year is moving really quickly and I’m loving it. Still a lot to do but I’m also getting a lot done! I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday.
Starbucks Phone App. To know me is to accept my coffee addiction (even if you don’t understand it). I never liked coffee. I mean I hated it. And then Continue reading
